Weave a Better Future
I teach you to weave a sustainable life with flax. Learn to create beautiful, practical items that replace waste and connect you to the natural world.
Stop Consuming. Start Creating.
Every day, over 3.5 million tons of waste pour into our world — much of it used once and thrown away.
I’ve stood at the edge of a stream choked with bottles and plastic bags, and it felt like looking at a wound in the earth… a wound in my own heart. The air grows heavier, the soil loses its life, the waters no longer run free.
“Green” labels promise solutions, but too often they’re just clever marketing.
Real sustainability isn’t bought — it’s lived.
When we create with local, renewable materials like New Zealand flax, we cut waste, reduce our footprint, and rebuild a relationship with the earth that has been nearly lost. Each act of making becomes a small act of healing — something useful, beautiful, and lasting, born in harmony with the land.
It’s more than craft. It’s hope and change you can hold in your hands.

With over a decade of hands-on experience and training from Māori and North American master weavers, I bring timeless skills to today’s sustainability challenges.
Hi, I’m Karina. I grew up outside the modern system, learning traditional skills from birth as my parents taught ancestral wisdom in Austria. By my teens, I had lived alone in the wild as a rite of passage, written my first book, and begun teaching weaving with natural fibres.
I’ve trained with Māori master weavers in New Zealand and with traditional weavers from North America, blending their teachings with my own lifelong experience. Now, I share my passion for sustainable living and flax weaving — helping others create beautiful, practical items that honour the land and reduce waste.
